In our High Performance Muzzlebrake Technology products “Magnum” is our term for the highest level of Recoil Reduction obtainable.
Sound
TTT/Mission First!™’s “H.P.M.T.” muzzlebrake provides a model that only increases the sound from a weapon by as little as 3dB higher then a weapon with no muzzlebrake. Most other muzzlebrakes increase the sound of a weapon between 11 to 15dB higher.
At TTT/Mission First!™ we strive to control both the recoil to the shooter’s shoulder and the sound emitted from the weapon to the shooter’s ear. We know that “H.P.M.T” is the next generation in muzzlebrake design for the shooting community. High Performance Muzzlebrake Technology doesn’t “break” the rules of technology, it “makes” the rules.

Caution: Hearing damage can occur with exposure to sounds above 140 decibels. Almost all gunfire is above 140 decibels and hearing protection is always required to protect against hearing loss or damage when shooting any firearm. |
Material: “Blue” Carbon Steel-Stress Proof and “Stainless” Steel .416 - Both Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel materials are heat-treated for superior strength and long service life.
Calibers: .22 through .50 BMG, and .600 to .700 (such as the Garnick .600 Overkill)

“ROD” “Reducible Outside Diameter” can be reduced to 5/8 inches. This depends on the barrel diameter requested. The muzzlebrake is designed to fit flush with the barrel contour.
The Mini Magnum is only 7 dB, plus or minus, increase in sound depending on od.
Recoil of a .300 Winchester Magnum using the Mini feels more like a 25.06, depending on bullet weights and loads.

The MagnumBrake is also available in a “ROD” style muzzlebrake. It only has an 8 “dB” increase in sound, again depending on the final diameter of the contour. The MagnumBrake is the one that tames a range of hard hitting and hard kicking cartridges.
The MagnumBrake makes the recoil of the .300 Remington Ultra Magnum feel similar to a .220 Swift.

Hunters have been asking for this type of muzzlebrake for years. Now there is a choice for the hunter who wants to use his muzzlebrake in the field but does not want to wear hearing protection for the occasional shot at game.
This revolutionary brake is like nothing the shooting industry has seen
before! It was designed from the ground up for its sound controlling
effectiveness without sacrificing any of its high level of recoil reduction.
Most magnum rifles will record a sound level of approximately 160 dB
with no muzzlebrake installed. The average muzzlebrake will increase
this sound level by about 11 to 15 dB. By comparison, the sound increase
with the “HuntersBrake” muzzlebrake is only about 3 dB
for the big magnum calibers like the .300 Ultra Magnums, etc. The sound
increase for the smaller magnums in the 7mm Magnum class and the non-Magnums
will also be approximately 3 to 4 dB. The HuntersBrake is not a “ROD” capable
brake.

This “H.P.M.T” muzzlebrake has a unique feature for tactical application by Police/Military shooters, as well as for the Prone Sport Shooters. The Tactical/Prone doesn’t kick up dust, dirt and other debris, like “rock chips” that might cause collateral injure to a nearby shooter. The Tactical/Prone’s dust signature is not even visible in most types of soil while providing recoil reduction in cartridges like, the .223 Remington, the .308 Winchester, the 30.06 Springfield and the .300 Winchester Magnum. The Tactical/Prone is unsurpassed as a muzzlebrake in the prone position!
The Tactical/Prone has the same outside diameter and threads per inch as the MagnumBrake described above. The Tactical/Prone is available in the same calibers as the MagnumBrake. The Tactical/Prone is a great choice for cartridges such as the .408 Cheytac, which is a hard hitter between a .338 Lupua and the .50 BMG.

This brake is the mother of brakes! The Bench Rest .50 Magnum is designed to provide maximum recoil reduction and low blast signature. Off the bench is where the .50 Magnum is at home, whether you’re shooting a 647gr or an 800gr .50 caliber bullet or larger.
In a long range match the “B.R.50 Magnum” is going to keep the recoil energy off your shoulder and put the energy on the target where it belongs. When moving up the scale from the .50 caliber into a cartridge like the “.600 Overkill” by Robert L. Garnick out of San Mateo, CA, you’ll need the “best” muzzlebrake available. You’ll find it in the “B.R .50 Magnum”!

Recoil of the M4 AR15 family of weapons with the SA/Semi-Auto Muzzlebrake is so slight that it is close to non-existent. This size and design resulted from the need for rapid semi-auto fire and accurate single round (precision) fire. The SA/Semi-Auto Muzzlebrake effectively controls muzzle climb.
Applications : Highly recommended for Law Enforcement and Military, CQB and Patrol Carbine. Civilian shooters will find that the SA/Semi-Auto Muzzlebrake is a great addition to their 3 gun weapon competition.

The FA/Full-Auto Muzzlebrake is only a 7 dB, plus or minus, increase in sound.
The recoil of the M4 AR15 family of weapons with the FA/Full-Auto Muzzlebrake is dramatically lowered by providing the proper amount of additional jetting ports to control the sustained pressure flow of full-auto fire (mil-spec ammunition). We do not recommend this brake for semi-auto fire.
The FA/Full-Auto Muzzlebrake provides tremendous control of muzzle climb and recoil both in burst fire and in full-auto fire modes. During single round (precision) fire there is an overall improvement in accuracy.
Applications: Highly recommended for Law Enforcement and Military, CQB and Patrol Carbine. Civilian shooters will find that the FA/Full-Auto Muzzlebrake is a great addition to their full-auto competition.
